The history of Studio Rabaglietti & Associati

Over 50 years of professionalism

The history of the Studio is a story of professionalism, dedication and continuity, built over more than fifty years of service to businesses, professionals and families.

Its origins date back to 1972, a particularly significant year for the Italian tax system, marked by the introduction of Value Added Tax (VAT). During a period of profound regulatory and economic change, Nicola began his professional journey by completing his traineeship with Dr Mario Petrillo and notary Giovanni Badini. These were formative years, during which he acquired not only the essential technical skills required for the profession, but also the principles of rigour, integrity and responsibility that would, over time, become the defining values of the Studio.

The experience gained during his apprenticeship, combined with his passion for the profession and his desire to offer clients a qualified service, led in 1981 to the launch of his activity as a chartered accountant and statutory auditor. From the very first assignments, a clear vision emerged: to support clients not only with tax and accounting compliance, but also with the strategic decisions that guide business growth and asset protection.

The early years were marked by enthusiasm, daily commitment and constant attention to evolving regulations. An essential contribution to the development of the Studio came with the arrival of Daniela in 1982 and, later, Luana in 1985. Together, at the offices in Via dei Servi 9 in Florence, they formed a close-knit team that laid the foundations for a professional model based on technical expertise, client care and the quality of human relationships.

In 1987, the team was further strengthened by the arrival of Simonetta Andreani. From that moment, an organisational structure began to take shape that would become the beating heart of the Studio for more than three decades. The stability of the team, the sharing of the same professional values and the ability to face the challenges of a constantly evolving economic landscape together enabled the Studio to consolidate client trust and build professional relationships often passed down from generation to generation.

1990 marked a new stage of growth with the move to the offices in Via Duca d’Aosta 16, which remain a point of reference for the firm’s professional activity today. The new organisational structure supported a further phase of development and specialisation. During those years, the Studio consolidated recognised expertise in the field of domestic and EU VAT, a particularly complex and constantly evolving area, becoming a qualified point of reference for companies operating both nationally and in international markets.

At the same time, the Studio developed specific expertise in the management of fiduciary mandates and in assisting entrepreneurs, professionals and private clients, offering consultancy services characterised by confidentiality, reliability and close attention to individual needs. Professional growth has always gone hand in hand with continuous technical training, essential for addressing the many tax, corporate and fiscal reforms that have affected the country over recent decades.

Over the years, the Studio has experienced and supported major economic and social changes: from progressive European integration to the globalisation of markets, from the IT revolution to the digitalisation of tax compliance, through to the most recent transformations that have redefined the relationship between professionals, businesses and the public administration. At every stage, the goal has remained unchanged: to offer clients skilled, practical and timely support, capable of turning regulatory complexity into opportunities for development and growth.

Aware of the importance of professional continuity and the transmission of expertise to new generations, in 2012 the Studio began an important renewal process with the arrival of Stefano Rabaglietti as a trainee. This opened a new chapter in its history, based on enhancing the experience gained over the years and training new professionals capable of carrying its legacy forward.

In 2015, Dr Valeria D’Andrea also joined the team, sharing the same path of professional growth. Both undertook years of intensive study, training and practice, supporting the Studio’s daily activities and gradually contributing to the development of its expertise and services.

Their qualification as chartered accountants in 2018 represented not only an important personal milestone, but also the concrete fulfilment of a generational continuity project built with foresight. The arrival of new professionals has made it possible to combine the experience gained over more than half a century of activity with a modern vision of consultancy, increasingly focused on innovation, digitalisation and the needs of a constantly changing market.

Today, the Studio represents the result of a journey that began over fifty years ago and has developed through the work, passion and commitment of people who have shared the same values of professionalism, expertise and responsibility. It is a history built on long-lasting relationships, mutual trust and the constant pursuit of professional excellence, continuing to look to the future with the same enthusiasm and determination that marked its origins.
